Burn the candle down to the burn line and let it cool. Pour in hot water, wait 10 minutes, and the last of the wax floats free. Wash it, let it dry 24 hours, then drop in a refill and light it. Step by step on the care page.

We’re finishing burn tests on every size now, and the hours go on each product page as soon as they’re done. Trimming the wick and burning in sessions of 4 hours or less gets you the most out of it.

Yes. Concrete holds heat while it burns, so use a coaster or trivet on finished wood or stone, and lift it instead of dragging it. More on caring for the concrete.

Every vessel is cast by hand. Small air pockets, pinholes and shifts in tone are part of real concrete, so no two are exactly alike. Made by hand, on purpose.
